Dec 13, 2014 - Fun With Friends

We have been in the very lazy relaxing mode. I have a lot of catching up to do with updates later. I am adding a few pictures from our awesome Christmas luncheon. Debbie and Gary invited us over for lunch and they went all out. The decorations were outstanding, the spread of food was beautiful with everything from soup to nuts with beautiful cookies and more for desserts. We enjoyed every minute of our visit. We had been busy Christmas shopping and just enjoying the season. We hope all our readers are enjoying the season too. Merry...

Apr 30, 2014 - Visit with friends

We spent 3 days in Forsyth, MO with friends we had not seen in a long time. It was good to see them and catch up. We got a tour of Branson, the lake and rivers. Spent two nights in a public campground. It was green!! The back part of our unit hung out over the lake. There was a major storm that took two days to blow through. High winds, a threat of hail and tornado warnings for two days! Suzi was a little nervous. She was afraid the winds might blow us over. We got rain and wind, but that’s all. Whew. When we were leaving and trying to find...

Today we visited the small town of Forsyth, Mo. Forsyth is located on Lakes Taneycomo and Bull Shoals, just ten miles northeast of Branson. The Forsyth area is home to some of the Ozark's best fishing. Jerry is getting his fishing license for Missouri and is busy checking out all the great fishing areas. We also found another great Army Corps of Engineers Park called River Run Park. It's right on the water with huge sites, 30 amp electric with no sewer hookups, but it sure has some great views. Cost was $14 a night regular price, Golden...

Sep 30, 2008 - Forsyth, Missouri

We had a fairly light travel day today, but we were up and on the road early. At first it was overcast and on the cool side, but the sun eventually broke through and we found ourselves heading right into the sun. The countryside here in Missouri is so pretty, with green rolling hills everywhere. The trees are just beginning to change. -- We arrived in Forsyth around 10:30 this morning. We checked into the Shoals Bend RV Park. It is a Good Sam park that sits off the road under nice shade trees. It is beautiful. All of the spots are level...
