Mar 18, 2010 - Daddy's Doctor Visit

I tried to sleep as long as I could....I was really tired. But I awakened about 5:30 and decided I might as well get up. I got online for a little while and I saw on FB that Mike Lasater(my brother-in-law )was having outpatient surgery today. Cheryl had not mentioned it to me...and I knew they had to be awake by the time she had written that they had to be at the hospital.So I called her.It seems he is going from having a knot head to a hole in his head!!! Minor surgery...saw him this evening at Daddy's and he is doing fine. Carl Jr and I...

The Davis Dream

Mar 17, 2010 - Home Sweet Home

We are home!!! We drove 350 miles today. I just decided that I was either going to drive the truck and pull the trailer or it we was going to have to stay in Canton, Mississippi and we would have to live there for the rest of our lives. We decided when we left this morning, we would see how the day went and that would determine when we would stop for the evening. Well, I had a much better day today. I even did fine thru Memphis and the road construction with the concrete barriers that kept me white knuckled most of the time...but we did it....
