I had fond memories of wading in the clear gentle creeks of the Missouri Ozarks while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO in the summer of 2001. So it is no surprise that taking Minhee and my mother-in-law on a camping trip to the Ozarks for some tubing in the creek was a top priority of mine. We packed up the camper and took off for Labor Day to Bennett Springs, MO. We set up camp and headed down to the Niangua River with tubes slung across our shoulders in hot sunny weather.
