May 12, 2007 - Enjoying the Front Porch

Our last night at Wall Doxey State Park near Holly Springs, Mississippi, 50 miles SE of Memphis..........or maybe not. Two consecutive days now of what we so often jokingly call "camping".......that would be two days of being virtually comatose, getting up from the lounge chairs only to take a shower, get something else to eat or drink, or allow the body to react to having had something else to eat or drink. May 8, 2007 - Campground Selection

Still at Wall Doxey State Park, Holly Springs, Mississippi, 50 miles SE of Memphis. After doing mental gymnastics on the topic at different moments during the last few days, we finally sat down this morning to think about where we go & what we do for the next 2 ½ weeks. We have made plans to pick-up our grandson Micah & a friend of his in Franklin (outside of Nashville) on May 27 to take them with us for a week. May 1, 2007 - Sunsets

From Wall Doxey State Park, Holly Springs, Mississippi, about 45 miles SE of Memphis. Today we made our way further west, completing the trek through Alabama & getting most of the way through Mississippi, to end-up here at Wall Doxey State Park.
