I spent a few days at Grand Gulf MP last November, on the way to Azalea Acres/Gulf Shores for my first winter as a Full-Time RVer. The weather then was wet and cold. So I returned. The forecast is WARM and DRY, perfect for visiting the historical sites of Vicksburg and Natchez. Grand Gulf Military State Park is a Mississippi state park located 10 miles northwest of Port Gibson in the unincorporated area that is now the ghost town of Grand Gulf. 2014 RV Adventure

Nov 21, 2013 - Grand Gulf Military Park

Sorry NO Pictures!! Next stop was Grand Gulf Military Park, half way between Vicksburg & Natchez. GOOGLE IT! Great small scenic RV park with full hook ups! Stayed 4 days, the plan was to visiting Antebellum homes in Natchez and Civil War stuff in Vicksburg. But, the weather said NO, it rained all but 1 day, and was COLD! That sunny day I did explore Grand Gulf Military Park and Museum. Another excellent find! I will do this again, when weather is much more enjoyable. Time to go to Alabama for the WINTER!! ...

2014 RV Adventure

Mar 9, 2011 - Grand Gulf

The time at Grand Gulf was well spent as we explored all around the area.. Friends met up with us and they traveled the area with us.. They grew up in the area and had a ball exploring the area with us. Like the places we went to eat and the trace that we drove..
