September 3, 2017 – Fulton, Amory, Aberdeen, West Point, Houston, Vardaman, Bruce and Pontotoc, Mississippi There was practically no traffic today. I had a good time wandering around on backroads again. My 1st stop this morning was in Fulton to view the marker for the Mississippi Blues Trail. This one was for Jimmie Lunceford. It was placed near the Playgarden Park. This was a great little park on the square in Fulton. The sprinkler fountain wasn’t working that early in the morning, but this would be a great place to be later on in the day...

Apr 9, 2011 - To Aberdeen, MS

John is awake early. He knows that there are fish in the lake. By the time I am ready to leave, he has caught another crappie and three large mouths. We head to Tishomingo for breakfast. We are in “What?” country. I speak. “What?” They speak. “What?” This continues three or four times. It is the South! We fuel up the RV, do our grocery shopping and are back on The Trace.
