A year ago, our friend Don and his wife Sandee, looking for more room, sold their RoadTrek Class B motorhome and bought a really nice older Fleetwood Class A. Don asked me to come with him over to Wisconsin and drive the new one back home to Minnesota, a 1992 Fleetwood Southwind 30'. When we pulled into the seller's driveway, and I caught my first glimpse of this machine, my jaw really did drop, it was beautiful. . Jun 21, 2011 - 'Fathers Day' weekend in Long Prairie, Minnesota

A couple of weeks ago, I got a call from my daughter Annie, saying her father-in-law Ev Bullert hoped we could join the family for a 'Fathers Day' family get-together at his lake cabin just outside Long Prairie, Minnesota. A year or two ago, we drove our older Class C motorhome there for a couple of days, and had a great time. Jul 6, 2008 - Road Trip Part 3

We headed over to Itasca State Park MN to see the headwaters of the Mighty Mississippi. Now living so close to New Orleans for all those years, it amazed me that such a large river actually started out so little. They have a very interesting exhibit there at the park, wish I could show ya'll all the pics. We took the short hike up to the headwaters, it was so lovely. You can actually walk across it.
