Jun 8, 2016 - Kellogg, Nebraska to Niles, Michigan

We left around 8 this morning with our sights on Joliet, Illinois as a possible stopping place. However, we made good time, and decided to go on to the South Bend, Indiana area. There's a museum that Jim wants to see there. The roads started out a little bumpier than they have been, but then got better until near the end of our day. Still don't know what we left at home!!! Made it into Niles, MI on Wednesday for a stay through Labor Day weekend. Niles is just across the Michigan...

After an afternoon of raining we were able to get out for a short walk and saw many of the early wildflowers....

Aside from being the 3rd largest Amish community in the surrounding towns, this is also the RV Capitol of the world. Almost all the RV manufacturers are located in this area, including ours...Gulf Stream. Today was a quiet day since just about everything is closed on Sunday. We decided to relax and go see a movie...Step Up... a new dance movie that I've been anxious to...
