Saturday, August 5, we drove to Munising, Michigan. It was a long drive about 5 hours on state and local roads, no freeways. We passed a truck going the opposite direction and he through up a rock and it put a crack in my side of the windshield. It was a small crack but over time, it grew in length until it was up in my view. The other good news was that the rear-view monitor went out again but I just changed the fuse on that and it is working. I need to get that checked out to see why it is blowing fuses. Jun 23, 2006 - Michigamme, MI

We stayed at the Lake Michigamme RV Resort in Michigamme, MI (on the upper penninsula of MI). Beautiful campground - some sites right on the lake. But, since it was the weekend, we were not right on the lake, but you could see it through the trees. It really did not matter, since it was a short walk to the beach. Kallie was able to swim in another lake. While the park was very pretty, it did have a slight (??!!) problem. Deer flys, biting black flys and misquitos.
