(Ron Writing) Today we went back to The Henry Ford in Dearborn to see The Henry Ford Museum. It was another full day of enjoyment as we toured much of the museum. The place is huge. It’s all on one level and covers 12 acres! There are several main sections and we covered some of them in more detail than others. Some areas that were of less interest to us we either skipped or walked through rapidly. But even then we could have spent much more time there in those areas that we liked most. Sep 25, 2010 - Clear skies - at least for awhile

Rose early to clear skies - hallelujah, a break from the wind and the rain. We are continuing on our journey of Michigan's upper penninsula, stopping in Escanaba along the north coast of Lake Michigan for pasty #2. This one from Dobber's Pasty shop - a yummy combination of chicken, potatoes, carrots, celery and rutabaga (my first time trying this veggie). Aug 19, 2010 - It's the Model T Ford Made the People Want to Get, Want to Get Up and Go!

We made Lapeer, Michigan our base of operations after we left the UP. We had stayed at a city park here back in 2006 and since there aren't too many RV parks close to Detroit, we decided this would work for us. On Monday, we decided to drive the 50 miles into Sarnia, Canada and eat at a fish and chips place we had discovered in 2006. It was just as good as we remembered it, and we also met some really nice Canadians at the table next to us.
