Day #49, April 6, 2012, Friday: Beautiful clear morning after a frosty night – the little heater managed to hold the temp at 66 F during the night. We visited the McGee Marsh Conservation Area and gave it the “once over” although it wasn't officially open for 2012 yet. Quite a spot, and only a part of a series of Wildlife Areas running east from Maumee to approx. Sandusky, OH. We could well believe why having 8,000 folks there on a single day during their Festival in May might crowd things a little. It's on again this year apparently,...
