Saturday, July 24th – Kinross, Michigan – Mackinac Island Day! We go into Canada! Send me emails or texts. Try not to call! The paid reservation for the dinner cruise last night was $84. not 5.! That was the problem. It was non refundable! It is surprising to us the minimal temperature variances from day to evening. Sometimes it may only be 5 to 8 degrees. Jul 23, 2010 - Kinross (Sault Ste. Marie), Michigan

Friday, July 23rd – Kinross, Michigan – midway between Sault (sue) Ste.(saint) Marie & Mackinaw. A day with ups & downs! Started very “up” as I walked Bailey on the beach this morning again. Nice & cool there. Sand all around & on our feet. Delightful! After dawdling on the computer this morning Allan finally disconnected rig hookups & we hooked up the car. Jun 30, 2010 - The Eastern UP of Michigan

I must begin with our campground. It has all the preferred basics: level with cement pads, a few trees, all hook-ups [electric, water, sewer], good satellite TV and internet connections, but its location is unique. It is nestled among three correctional facilities with lots of high razor wire topped fences. At night the area is lighted up like downtown Vegas except that it is very quiet. Jul 22, 2009 - Michigan's Upper Peninsular

We drove north on I-95 into the Upper Peninsular of Michigan, crossing the Mackinac Bridge between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. We love staying in city parks, and are staying at RV Park East. We drove up to Lake Superior, stopping to see the Point Iroquois Lighthouse.
