Jun 25, 2016 - Day One to Iron River, MI

We left on a beautiful sunny day. Temps were in the 70's and early enough on a Saturday morning that traffic was not yet busy. Took a new road to me across WI Hwy 29 before we took the interstate to get us east in WI. We were working our way to a wonderful road called Hwy 55 in northern WI. It has big sweepers, roller coaster hills, and tree lined. I think it was close to 100 miles. The humidity did get high and the temps did get in the mid 80's so it was warm and sticky. but oh 55 was so wonderful we hardly noticed. Got into Iron...

Jun 23, 2012 - Iron River, Michigan

We left the morning of June 23rd and headed for Iron River, MI, a distance of 143 miles. When we arrived at Iron River RV Park we were pleasantly surprised. It is a city owned and operated rv park and was absolutly beautiful. All the camp sites were large with lots of room between each site. All sites included full hookups and the nightly rate was very reasonable. Along side the park was a hiking/biking trail that followed the adjacent creek. So one morning I took a 10 mile long bike ride for a little exercise.

Sep 24, 2010 - A day of 3 states

Leaving Minnesota, we headed to a little peninsula in Wisconsin along the shores of Lake Superior. We figured out that our intended path is going to end up allowing us to see all 5 great lakes over the next few days. The storm continued to blow strong so we didn't get out at too many pullouts, enjoying them from the car instead.
