Aug 12, 2012 - Good-bye

Sunday, August 12 John Gurney Park, Hart We met the Works at a local restaurant in Montague for brunch before a short fishing time on the White River. Both Carson and Reagan caught a fish prior to their departure for Louisville. Grandpa and Grandma both enjoyed ourselves, and we think Carson and Reagan had a good time on their first vacation away from home! Afterwards, we headed back to the campground to get the motor home ready for moving northward. It was all Jim and I could do to prepare the RV and drive just over 50 miles to Manistee....

Aug 10, 2012 - Fun with grandchildren and kids

Friday, August 10 John Gurney City Park This week has been filled with activities with both Carson and Reagan. The first day we travelled to a township park just south of Pentwater, Cedar Point. Here we planned to have our lunch while we played in Lake Michigan and rested by the water. Unfortunately, Grandpa forgot the cooler that Grandma had packed for us; but fortunately, we had enough snacks to get us by for a three hour visit to the beach. Aug 6, 2012 - Grandchildren visit to Michigan

Monday, August 6, 2012 Hart, Michigan We left about 9 am this morning from the campsite to drive to Merrillville, Indiana. We met one of Matt and Tara’s neighbors, Cherie, at the Costco just off I-65. Carson and Reagan were as excited as we were if not more to go to our RV in Hart. The drive was about 2 ½ hours each way so they were ready to get out and unwind once we made it to the campground.
