Thu, 06 Aug: Heading north... After four restful days at the Thousand Trails Bear Cave RV park it is time to continue on our way. We picked up our mail, washed all our dirty duds, and got plenty of "vegging" out of the way. It's mosey time. We got things ready for the road, got Carpe off all of her wood without mishap, connected the car, and rolled wheels a bit before nine. Jul 9, 2013 - Cadillac and Lake City, Michigan

We planned our next stop at Camp Cadillac in Cadillac, Michigan to coincide with “The Greatest 4th in the North” that takes place in Lake City, Michigan. Camp Cadillac is a real “camp” ground, a great place for families to get together and enjoy the great outdoors, and of course it was completely full for the holiday weekend. It rained after we got to the campground and through the night; I was sure the parade would be ruined but by morning everything had cleared up and by parade time it was just about perfect. Jun 30, 2012 - Cadillac, MI

We left St. Ignace the morning of June 30th and drove 158 miles to Cadillac Woods RV Park just SE of Cadillac, MI. Leaving St. Ignace we had to cross the Mackinac Bridge which required a toll of $5 per axle for the motor home plus $4 for the car. We then headed to the town of Cheboygan, MI to pick up some groceries at Walmart. We arrived in Cadillac and headed southeast on M115 to the RV Park.
