Not more than an hour after I told Danielle "Don't worry, I know how to drive in snow," we were plowing through the median, snow rooster-tailing over the car. As we left the pavement, Danielle said, "well, here we go," and Marley (waking up from her teenage-sleeping position) sat straight up yelling, "what was THAT?!" Not a single member of my family made any impolite comments, but Ken (when I called him) did say "Oh, Dear, I'm so sorry - how embarrassing for you!" Truth hurts.
