Epilogue: Our trip home was long and tiring. Keeping an ear tuned to the weather we determined we could arrive at our doorstep ahead of the impending mess by driving straight through. With a few rest stops to refresh and refill (tummies and gas) we walked in our front door at 3:30am. We awoke later that morning to find 4" of wet, heavy snow had fallen. Oct 19, 2007 - The Arrival
We finally brought the vehicle home today ! Although the motor home arrived in Massachusetts more than a week ago, there were still a number of unresolved issues. Overall, we like it a lot. It is a Lexington 210 GTS. It is a small vehicle (22 feet long), and we selected it because we like the layout. Mare's research indicated that the two most common problem areas reported with motor homes are roofs and slideouts, so we did not want a vehicle with a slideout, and we wanted a vehicle which we could drive most anywhere. Oct 8, 2007 - In the beginning...
Well here we are...exactly 23 days before our long planned scheduled departureof Nov. 1st, and still no motorhome! The good news is that it is within 50 miles of our home on Cape Cod, waiting for our PDI (pre delivery inspection as we've learned by catching on to the new "lingo" of the RV world. When we finally selected our little (21 Ft) Lexington last May, we were expecting an early summer delivery.Plenty of time to get acquainted and outfitted for the trip (or so we hoped)!
