Jul 22, 2012 - Massachusetts

Hello all, we had a great time in Massachusetts! Lots to see and do. We chose to stay in Wells, Ma and wagon-wheel out from there. It was close to most of the things we wanted to see. Our goal for this trip was to do the Atlantic Coastline as much as possible and holding true to that we didn't get to see the northern part of Massachusetts. That will have to be another trip! The areas we did cover though were awesome. Cape Cod National Seashore was pretty cool! One thing I've come to realize though about the Northern Atlantic...

Oct 10, 2010 - Cape Cod sans GPS

Arrived at the Gateway to Cape Cod RV park in Rochester, Mass. on Friday after a short and sunny drive from Boxborough. We had great plans to explore Cape Cod, and spend some time that afternoon planning what to see. May 19, 2009 - Tuesday Outing Hyannis

We didn't get up bright and early because we were tired and late to bed on Monday and since time is of no essence to us we actually left the campground on Tuesday to go to Hyannis and Martha's Vineyard around 11:20 am. The day is bright and sunny and it's going to be a warm one, for a change. Caught a good gas price at $2.27 so maybe things are going in the right direction. We didn't make it to Martha's Vineyard, that will be Wednesday during the day. We are also moving up to Moody Beach in Maine. We are about 1.5 hours away from Moody...

May 18, 2009 - Starting Day

We are scheduled to leave May 12, 2009. Our plans are to get up bright and early, have a good breakfast and leave around 9:00 a.m. with getting off the road around 3:00 pm to get a good dinner and plenty of rest. Our first stop will be in Connecticut. Well life dishes out many surprises and May 12th was a surprise for us as we never left. First I lost my pocketbook on May 9th at Tom's retirement party, then I went to get a duplicate license and it was taken away and I had to have a doctor's report to cover what was an incident of dizziness....

Oct 14, 2007 - Driving Through New Hampshire to the Cape Cod Area

Sunday, October 14, 2007. Outdoor World Campground, Gateway to Cape Cod, Rochester, Massachusetts. Driving Through New Hampshire to the Cape Cod Area It was a nice morning in Bethel, Maine. We took our time breaking camp and just enjoyed the morning. Tom did things outside, while I worked on things inside. Jonathan and I, then Tom and Jonathan passed the football for a little while then we hit the road. We decided not to take the same route that took us up into Maine. We wanted to see some different parts of the country. The GPS mapped...
