Sunsetview Farm Camping Area. George pulled into the drive for overflow parking because we couldn't see the campground entrance and it said to pull in there. He cleared the tree but there was a rock wall next to it and CRASH, he dented the rv bay door. Oh well, 5 years with no accident - pretty good. Drove to Easthampton to visit Marianna. She looks exactly the same as she did 15 years ago. Walked around Northampton - neat town. Went to dinner at a brewery - good food. Went to visit Anistasia and family. So glad we got to see Marianna.

Sep 25, 2009 - Old Sturbridge Village
Yesterday we drove to Springfield and took care of a few chores. Springfield is an old industrial city, home of the original Indian Motocycle Co., the parts we saw were not very attractive and I didn't take any photos. Today we ventured back to the 1830's and a New England village at "Old Sturbridge Village", which is a beautiful and historically accurate re-creation of life in the period. Daily life is faithfully reproduced and reenacted by historical guides dressed in period costumes. The village is spread over 200 acres of unspoiled...

Today we left Maine after two months of touring the entire coast to the easternmost point in the US. We really enjoyed Maine and the great summer weather. The drive west on the Mass. Turnpike was uneventful except for the fall foliage which is beginning to fill out. Our destination was Monson, MA, between Springfield and Sturbridge, we will be checking this area out over the next few days stay tuned.

Off to Monson, MA to meet our friend from Amelia Island, FL. Staying at the Sunset View RV park for a few days. Day 1 - Nice & sunny so we did a little steak on the barbie. Day 2 - Rainy. Drove to Ware, MA to WalMart ( we LOVE WalMart) to get some food, a recliner to sit in outside and some new shirts. We're going to get an EZPass tomorrow for all the freaking toll roads up here in the north. Geeese!

Week One of Our Amazing Journey began in Monson, MA. The girls and I headed out from our home in Wickford, RI to our home for several days in Monson. It is just east of Springfield, MA.
