Oct 19, 2008 - Newport Grand and then home
On Sunday Sally wanted to go to the Newport Grand after we went to the Breakers so we went. Good thing we did, I won 400 bucks which pays for the trip. We ate at the restaurant, which was good. We stayed in the new room they had just built, it was good. They had slots, and video black jack. After this we headed home.

Apr 19, 2008 - Home to Hancock Shaker Village
Leave Home on the 2nd trip. Stop at Hancock Shaker Village. Very historic place. It was a communal living religious community. The men were kept separate from the women. Everyone was treated equally. The big draw is the round barn. The were having an event where you good see all the new animals born this spring. We saw a sheep get sheered which was actually a little bit disturbing. All in all if you are into history this place is a good place to go. During the summer they do guided tours.
