Jul 22, 2012 - Sailed to Falmouth Harbor
Today was a nice relaxing day of sailing. We sailed from Hyannis to Falmouth harbor to fill the fuel tank. We are getting ready for a week long sailing trip in 2 weeks. As we left the harbor we sailed over toward the Nobska lighthouse where there was a regatta of small sailboats racing. Lots of colorful spinnakers. We sailed back to Waquoit bay and I picked up my pooch and headed back to Scusset beach. Same photo's as the Hyannis trip: Visit My Hyannis and Falmouth Images

Jul 21, 2011 - Fog and Winds point the way
In yet another evidence of our willingness to make it up as we go along, todays journey was a classic. We sat at the outer anchorage off Cuttyhunk until almost noon waiting for the fog to lift and the strong SW winds to lie down. It was not to be and as the rest of the nation dealt with record heat, we were in that tiny corner of the ice box that refused to thaw, Some sailboats departed the anchorage and the encouragement was just enough to get us underway. Jean assumed the fog watch and we set off up Buzzards Bay to the cut at Woods Hole...
