Well, we made a big mistake trying to see Salem, Massachusetts, the place where the famous witch trials took place, right before Halloween. ... We went one more place, to the old Salem waterfront to see the House of the Seven Gables, in which Nathaniel Hawthorne set his famous novel (if had been owned by a relative of his). ... We got partway through the tour and got informed we had to move the motorhome (we weren't going against any signs, and we did ask before the tour started!), so we gave up, walked out, got in the motorhome, and got out of the city as fast as we could, without even getting a Halloween souvenir.Well, we made a big mistake trying to see Salem, Massachusetts, the place where the famous witch trials took place, right before Halloween. ... We left Bourne in the morning and drove to the more northerly bridge over the Cape Cod Canal, and onto the Cape itself. ...
