So I've pretty much decided that this is the best way to keep in touch with everyone while I'm away. It's something I've always wanted to do, but I guess never really followed through with it before. I guess we'll see if I actually get around to updating this thing on a daily basis. :) Because I'm going to Costa Rica for a language immersion program I first contemplated writing this blog in Spanish, but then I realized that most of the people I know wouldn't be able to read it. Jun 11, 2007 - Westminster, MD - Visiting friends

We left the Boston area about 9 a.m. on Mon. the 16th & headed South. Traffic was not bad until we got close to N.Y. city. It took us an hour to get thru N.Y.C. & across the George Washington Bridge... That was thanks to road work on the upper level of the bridge and a broken down semi... Painful! Then in N.J. we went thru an 8 mile backup on the southbound side of I-95 because of a really bad accident on the North bound side. We were safe & had no problems ourselves, so we were thankful for that. We spent the night in Elkton, MD at a...
