Carroll County Maryland provides a brochure that list 27 locations that sell locally grown fresh produce, herbs, and flowers. Baked good, fresh meat, honey and brown eggs are also available at these locations. Our travels took us from Sykesville to Frederick. This county in Maryland is very rich with history. We maybe early for the leaves, but just in time for the wonderful veggies at the Farmer's Markets. Most of these we grilled and I even made fresh butternut squash soup.
