Jun 8, 2008 - Finally got moving

Said all the good byes, got all the maintenance done on the truck and motorcycle and headed out. First stop is Gettysburg Battlefield RV Resort. My home base for Coast to Coast membership. Call one of the guys that used to work for me at AACOFD, Doug Fishel. Planned to meet and ride the bikes for a while. This area is always pretty, good scenery and some good motorcycle roads. On a separate note: this is my first serious trip since losing Lin. I find myself reflecting on all that has happened since then. Some very special people in my life...

Route 66, Escapade in Gilette WY

Mar 20, 2008 - Back in Maryland

Made it back to Maryland. Thank you Heather and Melissa, for being with me during my long journey back to Maryland. I was able to get back in time to have dinner with our old Thursday night dinner group. Surprised them all and it was really great to see them all. I will be staying in Bev's driveway on kent Island. The next few weeks will be spent getting in touch with the many friends in the area. I'm cold (houston was in the 80s)but it's good to be back here for a while. I really missed the grandkids.
