Trying to be sure we outran the possibility of snow in the mountains, we headed south toward Maryland rather than staying where we were or heading due east. We planned to stay just across the Pennsylvania border into Maryland, and realized we would be going through York, PA which is where the Harley Davidson Factory is located. We had visited it in the spring, but could not do the tour as we had on open-toed shoes which were not allowed.
