The Americans gave the Aussies the task of bringing desserts and nibblies to the pool party, so In the all Australian tradition I decided to bake a pavlova- that and it is the only thing that I can actually cook! Ingrid said she had an oven in her room, so I went and bought all the ingredients, with some substituting for cornflour that the Americans have never heard of. It turns out Ingrid didn’t have an oven, but she did have a dishwasher , so we all bundled into the convertible and pressed in HOME for Tammy’s place on the GPS and invaded...

Aug 14, 2008 - Wine,Rocks, waterfalls and crabs

WE had a few hours to kill with no game to watch and so I looked at a map and found a winery so decided to investigate further. we hit Fiore winery where we were able to taste and buy my favourites. It was very picturesque and the wine was really quite nice. I had seen a photo of a waterfall, so we drove a bit further and found the trail to the waterfall and had to hike to see it- sandals and wet muddy ground really don't go... but we found it pretty quickly and had the obligatory photo shots. Then we drove around the Rocks state park...
