Hey there friends! Day 2 in DC was equally as fun as Day 1. We rode the metro into town and hit the streets. We went to the Archives Museum, back to the Natural History to see a couple things, the American History Museum and then walked to have lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. Oct 17, 2008 - Cherry Deal?

Cherry Hill, MD is where we are docked for a week. This allows for an easy train ride into DC for one of the highlights (pinnacle even?) of our American history tour. I joined the family for the weekend to visit the major monuments and the Spy Museum. I also took a day of vacation mid-week to tour the Capital with them. The rest of the time, they spent at places like Smithsonian and Holocaust museums while I worked. While the location was convenient, and the park was family friendly, it's hard to stomach a week where it costs almost as much...

Oct 23, 2007 - To Cherry Hill MD and Washington DC

102307 After an uneventful night in Clarksboro, NJ, we were off to Cherry Hill RV Park in College Park, MD. Cherry Hill gets high ratings from the people that we have met on the road, so we are looking forward to being there. Other then the crazies on the road, we had a peaceful drive, which Greg likes a lot!! The people at Cherry Hill Park are really nice and it is a big enough park that it even has it's own restaurant and a bus stop that will get us to the metro that we can take into Washington DC.
