We were up early to take the motor home to the tire place for the new front tires. We dropped off the motor home and I dropped off Bob at his MD appointment. When he finished his appointment we ran errands. We picked up coffee at the WAWA, I had a flu shot since I had forgotten to get it at my MD appointment on Wednesday, we picked up some DVD-R's to record with at Best Buy, and had my glasses adjusted. We stoped in the Bike Doctor to pick up our bikes. When we dropped them off we were told they would not be ready until the 13th. We told...

Today was supposed to be a quieter day. We took the dogs to meet with their groomer Lisa in Waldorf. We told them that they were going to see Lisa and Karlie squeeked the whole way! We dropped off the dogs, went back to the storage unit and picked up my 2010 photo album which I had forgotten to take with me to the motor home. We went to Panera for lunch and then picked the dogs up. It was so good to see them with a good grooming. We really miss Lisa! I dropped Bob and the dogs off at the motor home and went to Bowie to my doctor's...

I had caught Bob's cold, so I was up early, then went back to bed. We went to Waldorf to our dental appointments. Bob's appointment was at 10, so I dropped him off, went to Sterling Optical to have them adjust my glasses, took the Tupperware canister set to the White Plains post office to mail, as I had sold it on EBay. Went to Borders, and picked up a few books, using a gift card that we have been holding onto. Then returned to the dentist office for my appointment at 11. Bob took the car, returned to Radio Shack, returned the cord, and...

We were up early and headed out to our early morning Endocrinology appointments. Good news for both of us! Dr. Levy was happy with both of us... We went over to the tire store and Bob talked to them about our tire/weight rating problem. They had to check the US for tires, they talked to Michilen, and finally found tires for us. We are to return with the motor home on Friday morning. I dropped Bob off and went to Pinefield to pick up friend, and former business partner Peggy Scott for lunch. We decided on Panera's. We had a nice lunch and...

Happy Birthday Bob! Love you honey! We worked at moving clothes, ran back over to storage unit and took back the summer items, picked up the skis and boots. We returned to the motor home for lunch, worked on putting things away, did laundry and took a nap. We drove south again in the afternoon to the Charles County Fairgrounds. We helped friends John and Lorrie Anderson pack up their display tent. They were at the Hospice Octoberfest, a fund raiser for Hospice. We went to the storage unit to exchange our clothes, summer for winter. We finally decided to bring the boxes back to the motor home for sorting and exchanging clothes. Winter clothes are so much heavier, it is going to be interesting to see how much we can get into the closet. We raced back to the motor home, dropped off the clothes and returned to Waldorf. We went to Best Buy to purchase another DVR/VCR combo, as ours has stopped rewinding the video tapes. Why buy one? We have a lot of taped VCR tapes and when we cannot obtain satellite,...

We awoke to rain early, turned over and went back to sleep. We woke up again around 7:30 and the rain had cleared out, but the wind had started. We checked with friends Don and Betty Ellis, but they thought that their yard might be too wet for us to move into the site in the back. So we looked for somewhere else to stay for a few days. Greenbelt has a federal park, but our motor home is too large for the sites. We found a small county park in Clinton MD. We left Candy Hill campground and traveled south on I-81. The winds were fierce from...

June 1 finally arrived! In the early morning we departed from Don and Betty Ellis's yard in Brandywine MD. Many thanks to them for allowing us to stay in their backyard for 15 days. Bob took the CRV and headed for the base to sign out. I drove the motor home from Brandywine to the park n' ride on Washington Ave. in LaPlata to wait for him. He arrived about 10:30 and we began our adventure. We crossed the Harry Nice Bridge(rt. 301), at the top of the bridge we met another Alfa motorhome crossing in the northbound lanes. We all waved happily...
