The 2007 Dock Repair Project: One of the "fun" 2007 projects was to repair the main dock for Rideouts. The main dock is about 250 foot long and is the most used dock off all. After doing a dock "survey" in the summer it was noted that 2 dock sections (a 20' and a 24' section) needed to be replaced and one dock section (the first float) needed repair. Jim and Bob Sr. built the dock sections and everyone joined in when it came to launching them. The dock sections were made with spruce main beams and cedar planks. The flotation is via 55...
