We discovered a great little automobile museum in a little town called Tremont, ME that houses a world class collection of antique cars from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was started by Richard Paine as a personal collection in the 1950’s. He managed to stuff about 175 cars into a large clear span garage. After he died in 2007, the Trust that he set up auctioned off all but those cars that were considered part of the core collection (numbering about 50). Oct 10, 2007 - road weary warriors

We decided that we needed a day of rest. We did venture out to find a Maine blanket and some lunch. Never found the blanket (I'm not sure they exist), and for lunch we finally found "Ruth and Wimpy's". And we had...(canya guess?)...lobster!! Actually, we had cups of lobster bisque. Delicious! For dessert? Blueberry pie. The best blueberry pie I think I've ever had. What's with those Maine blueberries? So small and so tasty-sweet. Makes dinner real easy - nothing - too full. Actually, I'm embarrassed to say that we bought a blueberry pie...
