We got away early this morning (9:00) knowing we had the longest drive we've done in a long time (230 miles). It was another 3-state drive - quite a ways thru Massachusetts, 15 miles across New Hampshire's coast & quite a drive up the Maine coast. We chose not to take toll roads & that wasn't a problem in Massachusetts but it really slowed us down in Maine. Aug 4, 2015 - 161st Topsham Fair

One of my favorite activities is visiting local fairs and festivals. Where it's a big city or a remote country town, there's almost always some type of fair at least once a year. If you're lucky enough to visit on one of those particular days, they're great fun to visit. While passing through Topsham, Maine, I saw signs pointing the fairgrounds. I had heard of the Topsham Fair and looked it up on the Internet. Yeah! It was opening the next day and parking is free. Not only that, but the first day was "Senior's Day", only $3. Aug 29, 2010 - Maine Hospitality

Oh, what a wonderful time we had!! Yesterday, we drove almost across Maine to Topsham for a brief, but fantastic, visit with RVing friends. We arrived at the home of Mike and Peggy (Maineiacs in Motion) in the early afternoon and were soon joined by Darrell and Judy (Wandering America). After the initial hugs, hellos, and how are yas, we jumped in the vehicles (girls with Peggy and boys with Darrell) and headed over to Yarmouth to the DeLorme Map Store.
