After a final french toast and sausages breakfast together cooked by our wagon master on his grill, we all said good-by one more time and the parking lot that was the campground began to empty. Two couples decided to stay on in St. John one more day, a good choice we had not even considered. Many more are gathering at the Pumpkin Patch where this epic journey began. Jun 21, 2010 - Mussels In Maine

The drive to Maine was not nearly as scenic as the drive through Vermont. It was mostly interstate. We did start to see a lot of moose warning signs, that got me excited. I love seeing moose in the wild. Maine reminds me so much of Alaska. We had booked a full hook up site with sewer and 50 amps. When we arrived, the campground host suggested we take a look at the sites. The full hook up sites are way away from the bay, the 30 amps with no sewer hook ups were right on the bay.
