July 4 - St. Andrews and Connor's Birthday Happy Birthday Connor!!!! It's official, so we were off to purchase a Dairy Queen ice cream cake for this evening before leaving Saint John. Then, a short drive of about 70 miles brought us to the beautiful resort town of St. Andrews by the Sea. This is an upscale, little quaint town on a very sheltered harbour that really attracts the tourists in the summer. Jul 3, 2006 - St. Andrews, NB - Canada At Last

We arrived in St. Andrews-by-the-Sea after a painless crossing into Canada from Calais, ME to St. Stephens, NB. The Kiwanis Oceanfront Campground is very nice, with 30 amp, right on the water. After setting up, we went into town and had dinner at Lobster Bay Eatery. Joe had lobster, I had salmon. Both were very good............resolutions to watch our diets are fading. We are planning a down day tomorrow to celebrate July 4th, do some maintenance, and cleaning. We also plan to meet our wagon masters for the Maritimes Tour.

Jun 23, 2005 - Calius, Maine

From Eastport, towards Calius, stopping at a little island, whose name I can't find at the moment, where French people originally settled in this new world. In Calius, I go into the information office, asking where the library is and where the best place to see the strange tides in the Bay of Fundy. The library is just a few feet away and, "I represent Maine," the woman says, "but see there just across the water, go into the New Brunswick information bureau.
