Jul 30, 2012 - Visiting Yogi

Left St. Johnsbury yesterday, had a great weekend there. Saturday night, we started out with a pig roast and pot luck supper (free,) then, a country singer entertained us out under the stars with a huge bonfire. Lots of singing and dancing, a good time was had by all. We are now about 2 miles north of Skowhegan, ME in Madison, with Yogi and the gang. Our stay was extended until the 9th, a couple of extra days is aways good. We'll be in Maine for the month of Aug working, and visiting with family and friends there. We'll being seeing and...

Jun 12, 2008 - Our Maine Coast Adventure - Day 3

Willis and I were showered and ready for our adventure to Acadia National Park bright and early this morning (yes, I actually was up early) as we have both been anticipating this treat for the last couple of days. We had heard of the beauty of Acadia National Park and were not disappointed. Our first destination of the morning was Cadillac Mountain. Sep 25, 2006 - Up to Maine

Today we headed east from Vermont, through the narrow top park of New Hampshire and landed in Maine. It was a very scenic drive along Highway 2 and the foliage has been very colorful. We saw hundreds of RV's headed the other way. I sure hope they don't know something that we don't. Tomorrow we're off to Bar Harbor, otherwise know as “Bah Ha-bah”. Diesel is down to $2.64 here, Yay! Today is my mother's birthday and I miss her, so I called her to chat for a while and tell her about the lovely colors we are seeing.
