Heading here to visit B76 friends, Pam & Don...they are forever young! It rained Saturday of the pumpkin carving party but it did not dampen the spirits of all who attended. Pam and Don connect in many ways with the community, not least of which thru their live in family, Ethan, Alisha, and 4 yr old Echo. Lots of young parents, children in tow attended the carving and contest...potluck food, all yummy, great conversation. Saw Ethan & Alisha's built-from-scratch home out of logs cut, sawn, and dragged by Pam's two working Belgiums from trees...

Aug 14, 2008 - Flat Rock Bridge

Referred to this campground by someone we met at Jellystone. We had a great site right close to the amenities but surronded by trees. This was a clean campground with a great heated pool with two water slides emptying into it. Recreation barn with arcade games. Had a movie theatre and band one night but didn't make either. The campground also extends across the street with a store and 2nd playground. You can tube down the river here but water was too cold then to do it. We did go the the Fair going on close by. May 18, 2007 - Natural High RV Resort, Lebanon ME, Elev 310 ft

We made it to Maine! However, the RV park we had reservations for is closed! Ugh! We're looking for other places to stay. More later. The park manager said we could dry camp just for the night since we had driven so far and there was no place to go. We parked our coach on the road in the park where thought it would not sink into the soft ground. Instead of being bummed about the whole thing, we decided to head to the beach to find a lobster place to eat at. Off to find Lobster! We are back from Lobstering, wow! Was that ever fun! Two...
