Jul 10, 2019 - A day at the lighthouse

Sally & Glenn get the hospitality of the year award. They fixed us another delicious breakfast this morning. Egg muffin sandwiches with scrambled eggs, ham & melted cheese on a toasted English muffin & a bowl of fresh fruit. Yum! After she packed us another picnic lunch we left for the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse located in Waldoboro, ME. It is a beautiful park, with huge flowing rocks of granite and pegmatite minerals of quartz, feldspar and black mica causing a beautiful rippling flow of colors to the ocean. Sally & Glenn fixed us a wonderful breakfast this morning of omelets & fresh fruit. A great way to start the day. & what a day it was! The lake was calm & calling to Paul, me too but not the same way as it was to Paul. Or maybe I should say the canoe was calling to him. Paul & Glenn carried the canoe down to the lake. Life jackets, & paddles were brought out of storage. I’ve been in boats before, small v bottom fishing boats, bass boats, pontoon & out board motor boats, but never a canoe. Jul 8, 2019 - "See you down the Road"

There are no good-byes only see you down the road. Yesterday we visited the Reversing Falls during low tide in the morning. Another one of God’s amazing wonders. The falls & river are going down stream but when high tide occurs, the flow of the water reverses causing the falls to reverse also. We drove across the bridge during low tide to the other side where the rough rapids were. We returned to the rapids at 2:00 pm to witness the slack time (when the flow completely stops & the water is still) then we noticed the water flow starting to...
