June 20 – Ranger Talk on top of Cadillac Mountain After having more clam chowder (the non-whole type) at Bar Harbor restaurant for lunch and reserving our seats on the Margaret Todd schooner for a morning cruise, we drove up Cadillac Mountain for some photo ops and a ranger talk. The weather was perfect for taking photos of the harbors and ocean with a bright blue sky, some clouds and a 50 mile view. June 19 – Visit to Deer Isle and Dining on Clams It was a beautiful day today – bright blue sky, 70F temperature but with a very brisk breeze from the northeast. We traveled to Deer Isle, an hour west, and the location of our wedding ceremony 7-years ago. This weekend was the Deer Isle annual Lupine Loop Festival. There were several large areas with lupines growing along the road that loops the island.
