Sep 25, 2009 - Off to the open road for Ann and Dave...
9/25/09 Dave says... Well, we sold the house in Berwick back in June. Have since been enjoying the back yard of Libby's house here in Berwick where we set up the 5th wheel trailer while we completed various scheduled appointments. Many thanks to Libby for the hospitality!!! We're now ready to head out to begin our "full timer" adventure. Plan to leave tomorrow, Saturday morning. Been a while coming...should be an interesting time ahead of us! Weather is turning cooler here in the mornings....so time to head south. Everyone wants to know...

Jul 15, 2008 - Holden, ME, to Berwick, ME
Happy Birthday, Dave!!!! Our travel day to Berwick wasn't a long one so we were in camp and set up plenty early to celebrate. During our time here we took a few trips to Wells Beach to check it out and have some gooood clam chowder. Then we took in Kennebunkport -what a neat little town! We missed seeing Senator McCain and Papa Bush by a day or two. Darn it! Our neighbors had seen Papa Bush at the Compound the week before we arrived. Again, the area is beautiful, the folks friendly, and the food great. Just waaaay too much snow and cold in...

Jan 10, 2008 - Oops!!!....hold On!!!!....we Ain't Goin Anywhere Soon!!!!
#*%#*@# house sale has fallen through! Buyer decided that the foundation was in danger of collapsing...which it is not! May have needed a "way out". Anyway he viewed our magnificent house as having a potential to tip over....so he's gone. And we ain't! We've had a mason look at it and determine that it was fine with exception of a few small places that could be repaired at minimum cost. No big deal. Oh well...lit a fire under us to get things sorted, assigned, and ready for disposal or dispersal. This week of warm weather has helped me...
