From Lakeside RV Park – Livingston, LA The smallest of the 64 parishes in the state of Louisiana has a museum of great interest and substance. It was at the West Baton Rouge Museum in Port Allen that we followed a 300 year timeline history of the parish through their newest exhibit: In the Interest of Our Parish: 300 Years West Baton Rouge. The museum also has the “Sugar Room” with painted murals depicting fields of sugarcane on all four walls making you feel as though you are in the middle of a sugar field. There is also an outdoor...
