Apr 21, 2012 - Sites

Hi All, We took a tour at the Kent Plantation here in Pineville, LA. We have a lot more pictures but I can only download a few for this free site. ( I guess I am cheap) If I want more I need to pay. There were also some slave quarters at this site. They raised sugar cane here way back then and it's interesting how they start from corn syrup to brown sugar. As I have said before, we are getting educated! That's a good thing, it's never to late to learn. As you all have figured out by now, I am not a creative writer. Until later Kathy & Jim.

Hi All, We are now in Pineville, LA for a couple of nights. We are going to visit some of my old co-workers at our Pineville manufacturing plant. The weather has been perfect so far, they say it's suppose to rain tomorrow and Sat. Sorry about the map, I wish there was more room or it was larger. Can you image what it will look like when we get to the smaller states??? Until Later Jim & Kathy
