Sep 15, 2017 - My One Day in "Nawlins"

The WW2 Museum opened at 9 and I was one of the first through the door. After buying a ticket you are given a paper dog tag. When you are seated in the train named North Platte ( I have fond memories of my visit to that town), you put the tag up to an elecronic reader and find out the name of the person you will follow throughout the museum. I followed a navy officer who was a Japanese prisoner of war for three years. I paid extra for a 4D movie and a "submarine experience". Movie was a general overview of the war . May 15, 2010 - Gonzales, LA

We arrived in Gonzales Thursday, May 20, 2010. We were so lucky to be able to stay at Sue and Allen's beautiful place. We had full hook-ups right in the driveway. Sue brought us bacon, eggs and toast on a silver platter Friday morning. Good service at the RV resort. And, there is a gorgeous pool! We spent some quality time with Alda and Leon, Sue and Allen and the grandchildren Madison and Isabella.
