Not sure the exact day but I do know we went with some folks from FCRV Retiree Rally. How it all started... Kelly Hudley's Story: Born to CJ and Annie Hudley, he's the oldest of 7 (5 boys and 2 girls). Kelly and his brothers, farmed rice, soybeans and crawfish continuing the family farming tradition. In the late 80s, due to health issues, he turned over the field crops to his brothers but he continued crawfishing. Nov 27, 2010 - good travel day

The day was sunny, so the coldness outside didn't bother me much as I drove East. I logged 330 miles today and stopped at a Walmart in this town at about 4 PM. I took a shower while my home was nice and warm and I am parked in a quiet corner of the lot. I enjoyed talking with Mom before shopping for breakfast items here. I am running the generator so I can use the electric heater and watch TV while using my computer! All the comforts of home in a parking lot!

Jan 28, 2010 - Day 59

Another late start hoping the traffic would be slower at 9:00. We didn't realize that Galveston was an Island and we would have to back track cause we couldn't ride the car ferry. So we moved on and we went across a lot of bridges and saw things damaged from the hurricane. The blue sky has disappeared today also, so we just kept cruising along and stopped in Crowley Louisiana at our favorite, Walmart Supercenter for the night.

Mar 6, 2008 - Mar 4 - 6th

Mar 4 - 6th Took our last ride through Hill Country, visiting more German (Boerne) and a Polish (Medina). The German influence was evident but we couldn't detect the Polish. Medina calls itself the apple capital of Texas. We can verify a bakery there makes super apple turnovers, pie and strudel coffee. And the apples were delicious. We also visited Bandera and did a museum there supposedly on frontier life in the west. Frontier life in the world would be more like it.
