Dec 25, 2012 - Merry Christmas!
We had a wonderful week with Ed, Vickie and Sammy. Talk about hospitality, Ed and Vickie know how to make you feel at home. Jerry and I have been lazy all week, I have not even washed a dish. They won't let us do anything. :-) We got up this morning and opened all our presents. It was so nice to spend Christmas morning with family and get to watch Sammy open all his gifts. He got everything he had wished for and more. After opening all the gifts, we sat down to another wonderful breakfast. Vickie had started working on breakfast the night...

They have a huge one in the den with all Disney ornaments, Sammy has his own tree in his room, we even have one in the guest room. The whole house looks absolutely awesome. I will take a ton of pictures and add later. We are having a wonderful time with them and are all looking forward to Christmas morning. Check back later for more from Kentucky.

May 31, 2010 - Family Rally, Big Bone Lick State Park
Today we restarted our journey to the Maritimes. But first, there was a family rally near Cincinnati. We had plenty of food, warm weather and no rain. The cousins played together with the marshmallow guns exhausting the supply of ammunition. Believe me, the ants were having a hay day after we left. The marshmallow guns (1/2 inch PVC pipe and fittings)got transformed into rocket launchers which turned out to be a second fun activity. Adults mainly sat and talked. We are very fortunate to have had this family rally. We look forward to...
