Aug 22, 2017 - Family Time

Today was the day after. The solar eclipse was over and done (until 2024 when those of us in the Northeast will be given another view). Friends departed, leaving us with family time. Our journey today ended in Fort Campbell Kentucky where Marilyn's only brother Michael lives with his wife Maria. We came...

We had breakfast at the motel and I took my own cereal. Then we gassed the car and hit the road, happy because the car started nicely both times. I drove to the first rest stop past St. Louis and then Joyce took over for awhile. We ran through a portion of Illinois to a rest stop near Metropolis, IL. I took the wheel there and we noticed a sign about a large...
