From PA, we drove through West Virginia and then into Kentucky. We saw our first daffodils in bloom outside of Stroudsburg, PA; but, by the time we reached Kentucky, spring was in full force. Dogwood and Redbud trees were in bloom along the highways, and the fields were very green. People in Kentucky seem to like large expanses of lawn and fenced green fields. It's a beautiful state and was a nice welcome to the brown and still frozen north.
