Oct 23, 2011 - Catching up...

Up-to-date from my grab & shoot camera... at least none of these have been retouched! P hasn't loaded his pictures yet so I'll get those on here tomorrow hopefully.... Another beautiful morning! Sure glad the weather has warmed up all over... especially down here! It stayed in the 50s overnight. That's more like it! ;) We are taking the day off ... we'll figure out the rest of our route later.... Thanks for traveling with us! Love to all... P & E

Oct 22, 2011 - Quick note....

Wait til you see pictures of This park!! ^_^ We had planned on two nights here to recouperate a bit and are we ever glad! It's beautiful! Stayed at a cornfield KOA at Casey last night... neat park with trees and flat pull throughs.. the whole area has been flat since we left WI..... We drove on state roads which took us through huge ‘fields’ of wind generators... lines of hundreds of them.. all turning and producing power... and...surprisingly, just after that a ways, there were fields of oil pumps going full blast. You could really smell...

Sep 28, 2011 - Land between the lakes National Park Cadiz Kentucky

Making our way North and West.. Travelled through Chatanooga Tenessee and Nashville Tenessee today... about 265 miles.. landed at a spot called Land between the lakes National Park near Cadiz Kentucky off of Highway 24 by about 10 miles.. beautiful lake and nice marina resort.. Big bass fishing tourney coming up on Friday.. Place has WiFi so we are staying for two nights so we can get good solid connection and be caught up with school work since Paola's B-day was a slow day for schooling... fishing not so good here so far. everyone got...
