Sep 14, 2012 - Travel day - South Haven, Kansas
We had planned for three nights at Prairie Band Casino and Resort RV Park but the weather report made us stay an extra night ---- we was not interested in traveling in high winds and rain. We didn't unhook while we was at Prairie Band but we did donate to the local economy again. Security would pick up us at the coach and drive us to the casino and back whenever we wanted. Then on the road to South Haven, boy we had forgotten how BAD this place is so we was very happy that the weather had caused us to cut our stay here to only one day. No...

May 14, 2009 - Oasis RV, South Haven, KS
Took off from Texola after having breakfast with Terry and Caroline. We headed east on I-40 and then north on US 81. That way we avoided OK City traffic. The Oasis RV Park is fairly new. Looks like he made it out of a pasture - but he does have some small trees planted around. Nice laundry room, Passport discount and friendly people. What more can we ask for. Talked to the manager and he is giving me some door prizes for the Escapade plus signing up for the 50% discount as an Escapee park. Washed clothes this morning, got diesel, so we are...

May 29, 2007 - The Oasis!!!!
We arrived in South Haven, Kansas. On the way we saw the Kansas plains and wind. The plains were beautiful with the grazing cattle and the winds were ugly towing an RV. We also passed the Cessna plant where so many favorite planes were made. In the end, we made it our campsite—The Oasis! Most Oasis can be found in the middle of the desert. This one is in the middle of a wheat field! I've been waiting for the harem to show up. Still waiting!
