May 4, 2013 - Paige turns 4!

We love going to Overland Park to see daughter Terri and family - Mark, Claire and Paige. Daddy was away from home during this visit so we helped celebrate so they could celebrate again when he came home. You know the theory: the more partying, the more loot! Since we had to forego our stop in KS on the way to MN we are now going to make a quick stop there on the way to GA. It’s always a treat to see our friends Chelly and Gary and to stop into one of our favorite Mexican places-Jose Peppers. After playing a few games we settled in for the night at Chelly’s place.

Jul 4, 2009 - Overnight in Overland Park KS at Packy and Jo's House

Arrived at Packy and Jo's. Had a great dinner. Some good ole KC barbecue. Watched some fireworks. OK... Test for all. What is the one thing Kathy and Marty don't need? No answer?? How about another dog???????????? Packy and Jo are being transferred to Milan Italy for 12 to 18 months. So, Calvin the toothless terrier will be moving east to Virginia until his father (Packy) comes back to the states.

Jul 2, 2007 - End of Day 3 -- Overland Park, KS

We arrived on the south west side of Kansas City, in Kansas around 4pm and were greeted by the family. They live in a beautiful house in a really nice part of the city. They have two puppies and a large backyard and the dogs had a great time. We got showers before dinner and then were treated in a really great meal of spinach lasagna, salad and garlic bread.
