Continuing north, we spent a few nights at the Corps of Engineers campground near Marquette KS. This was the perfect spot to allow us to visit the Kansas Motorcycle Museum. The museum in Marquette is home to over 100 vintage and rare motorcycles of all various makes and models. The museum was started in 2003 as a local tribute to Marquette's own motorcycle racing legend and 5 time National Racing Champion, "Stan the Man" Engdahl. Jun 6, 2017 - Marquette KS – Kanopolis Reservoir - Venango COE Campground

Roger found a new Corps of Engineers campground to try on the way back to the Dakotas. Don’t know why we never stopped here before. We’ve been looking for a place to stay in Kansas to shorten the day’s drive from Albuqueque. This is a really nice campground. The sites are big, the park is well taken care of and we will definitely stop here again. The only part that was difficult was paying for our site.
